| The glaze-on-glaze
work that appears in this gallery shows examples over 25 years of working
and developing using multiple glazes. The application of these glaze surfaces
uses a number of techniques either on their own or in combination to achieve
the surface along with numerous glazes. The glaze application used are;
poured, sprayed dipped, painted (from 1" to 6" painted brushes of various
types). The use of hot wax and latex to mask and resist areas of
glaze. The work is fired to 1300ºC in either an oxidized or reduced firing.
